Faithlyn Derla is not easily defined by a single title. She is an IFBB Fit Model Pro Athlete, entrepreneur, model, and social influencer whose career reflects a rare balance of physical discipline and strategic business acumen. Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, Faithlyn’s journey is rooted in resilience, cultural pride, and a lifelong commitment to growth—mentally, physically, and spiritually.
That foundation carried her to a major milestone when she earned her IFBB Pro Card and Overall Fit Model title at NPC Nationals in Texas, solidifying her place among the sport’s elite. Yet for Faithlyn, athletic achievement is only one expression of a broader mission: helping others transform their mindset and bodies through consistency, intention, and mastery.

At the core of Faithlyn’s entrepreneurial portfolio is Trained by Faith, her online coaching brand dedicated to women’s health and performance. As a IFBB Fit Model Pro, she brings lived experience to a field often dominated by rigid standards, advocating instead for individualized programming that honors the diversity of womanhood.
Her coaching serves women across all stages of life—from competitive athletes and prenatal or postnatal mothers to clients navigating conditions such as PCOS, diabetes, or perimenopause. Central to her philosophy are two principles she lives by daily: “transform the mind and the body will follow” and “faith over fear.” These values shape not only her training methodology but also her leadership style, which emphasizes leading by example, building systems, and empowering others.
Faithlyn’s path has not been linear. After early success juggling bodybuilding, executive roles in luxury commerce, and a growing modeling career, she experienced burnout in her early twenties. Rather than pushing through at the expense of her health, she made the deliberate choice to reset—moving to California, starting again at the front desk of a gym, earning her NASM-CPT and nutrition certifications, and rebuilding from the ground up. That decision became a turning point, allowing her to scale her business sustainably and with purpose.
A Vision for Legacy Beyond the Spotlight
Today, Faithlyn continues to expand her impact across fitness, content creation, and fashion, with plans to launch additional ventures while competing as an IFBB Pro athlete in 2026. Her long-term vision is not driven by short-term visibility, but by alignment—showing up with integrity, exceeding client expectations, and building a legacy through daily decisions rather than highlight moments.
As a fourth-generation member of her ‘ohana with Filipino roots in Kohala, Hawai‘i, Faithlyn remains motivated by community and service. Her story reflects a broader truth she shares with aspiring entrepreneurs: success takes time, setbacks refine purpose, and clarity follows commitment.
